There has been a church in the parish of Béthemont since the 12th century. The extant church was constructed in 1859 on the site of the previous church, itself built in the 16th century. The 8500 Francs needed to reconstruct the church were raised from a local subscription and a lottery. The stained glass windows are a recent addition.
